I am sure it is the Disc Activity, last night I let it settle down and it started just fine.
Thanks

First Cue Delay
I really don't know why this is happing, or if it is my hardware but when I first boot up my laptop and start up SCS, the first cue delays almost 10 seconds. If I fire off the cue before hand and stop it and reset it everything is all right after that. I call it Priming the pump. I mean it's not rea...

Re: Cue fades only half-way, then stops...
I have recreated this problem myself but the fades are not as severe. In my version I start a Song a Q1 then Q2 – Q7 are Fade and Hibernate, and Resume to Fade in, alternately. The first fade goes smoothly to the end, Resume seems to jump, a fraction then fade up smoothly, next fade will stop about ...

Re:
Unplugging the laptop solved the noise problem. The thunderstorm panned across the stage beautifully, and all of my cues worked! Barry I had a weird thing happen when unplugging the Lap top, Music played played really well, but any sound effects .Wav Files could not be heard, I checked the volume c...

Re: Resume (with fade in) on Playlist Hibernated
Mike one problem with a Fade-in time on a Playlist is you don't usually have a Fade-in on music when you first start. It might be best to use the Fade-out time on the Resume so when you first start the playlist you won't have to contend with a Fade-in when you don't want it or maybe a separate retur...

Resume (with fade in) on Playlist Hibernated (in 10.1.1)
New version 10.1.0 Lets say Q1 is a start pre-show play list. Q2 is Stop playlist with fade to Hibernate Q3 is Resume from Hibernate with Fade in The level did not change because Playlist has no fade in time so all you get is silence. I tried adding a Level Cue as a sub cue but it seemed to assume t...

Re: On-The-Fly Looping
I am not real fond of Loop-Release it tends to loop a extra time. My suggestion is have Q1 start, Loop the Idle. Q2 SFR STOP NO FADE, with a subcue that starts the sound effect again but at the end. This way you get all the idle you want and skid crash, sting on command.

Re: Removing / Skipping a SFR if cue it relates to is finished
The Hot Key SFR will only stop the Cue or Cues it is programed to stop. If you have five cues running at the same time and the Hot Key is set up to stop only the third one it stops only the third one.

Re: Removing / Skipping a SFR if cue it relates to is finished
I know no one is talking about this feature for awhile but I was bored and wanted to suggest something. Why not program your SFR in to a Hot Key, I know now the operator need to know how to push another button but lets get real he need to know what his is doing anyway. Now with a Hot key SFR it will...

Right, Actual Volume would indicate a measurement of exactly what was coming out the speakers, where "relative" would indicate level relative to maximum output. So sense SCS defines loudest output at 0.0 dB. Increment changes could be in the form of – or + as –10dB and +10dB. Stopping of course at 0...

Incremental Level Change
What do you think about the usefulness of an Incremental Level Change? This could be mapped to a Hot Key, and when activated reduce the level, of a audio Cue, by a predetermine increment. For Example F1 can reduce the level of Audio file by 1 dB each time it is pressed or 10 dB. One would set up an ...

There may be a bug in the new Manual/Time-based setup. For 9.4.2. I set up a playlist (Q1) with the standard evening 7 matinee 2 and the Rehearsal Manual. changing the time-based to rehearsal the playlist appears back on the Cue page. When I left click on a cue below the playlist(Q1) say Q5, the cue...
