Re: Using a pushbutton to control cues
This interests me as well. On a recent show I used a wireless keyboard. It had a track pad built in. This allowed me to sit in the house with the director etc and work on cues. At the same time the operator could run the show from the booth. Both keyboards and mice were active but only one at a time...

No sound when playing a video.
A few problems here, today. (Windows XP pro, Delta 44 sound card and onboard sound.) 1) When I test the video in the editor the sound play the first time, but with subsequent tries I get no sound. The sound does play when I'm running cues. 2) I've been getting this error message: Error requested dat...

Image fade in and out (in 10.5.0)
Hello. I would like to request adding the feature to fade in and out the image on an image cue.
I noticed the controls are on the screen, but are grayed out.

Re: Back Button
I would second the request for a back button.
It would be useful when using image cues if you double clicked by accident, or just needed to go back a cue in a tech rehearsal.

Problem in editor SCS 10.1.1 (solved)
Hello. I created a 6 cue show. I'm having some problems with the editor. In the editor I can't switch cues. The only way I can get to a cue is double click on the cue in the main screen. When I then I tried to add a cue. It seems to add above the cues I'm editing. Even if I have slected a differnt c...

Selectable faders
Hello . I have a computer connected to a Delta 1010. This gives me 4 faders/sound devices. If i have to adust the levels I have to move them one at time. It would be great to be able to select one or two or all of them and move them together as a group. I was thinking that being able to 'pick-up' th...

Re: OFF TOPIC: VIDEO/presentation software?
I have been looking for a better PowerPoint as well. So far Iv'e looked at Screen Monkey http://www.screenmonkey.co.uk/DNN/default.aspx And Proshow Producer by Photodex http://www.photodex.com/ You should also look at Roscro's Keystroke. It runs off of DMX http://rosco.com/canada/software/keystroke....

Re: Master volume
OK. But. If you want to change the level of the whole show permanently can you not adjust the level on the Master fader in the mixer levels section? However, for temporary master volume adjustments, I too like the idea of a master volume on the main screen. In terms of keybord control I wondered if ...

Hello big brain. I have this cue sequence. Q1 Audio File Cue Q2<1> Fade Q1 down. Q2<2> Audio file cue. (This small sequence start some music and then Q2 fades the music down and start a voice over.) When I try and delete Q2<1>. The fade. I get this error message. Error Invalid procedure or call. SCS...

Re: cues and subcues
Now that's interesting I tend to use it in the opposite way. I use sub cues to change levels, fade out, midi etc of previously running cues. I find that when I start a new cue I often want to adjust in some way the cues that are currenly running. If I start a cue and want to adjust it's level etc. I...

Numeric values
To elaborate on my previous post. The use of the invertered -96 to 0 scale, while normal for technicians and designers, is very difficult for directors and non theatre people to work with. I'm constantly asked by the director in level setting sessions what the current level is. To be able to use a 1...

Numeric values
I second (third) that as well.
In fact (I can't believe I'm saying this) the sound designer in me likes the Db logrithmic scale but the theatre tech person in me would really like it to be 1-10 or even 1- 1000 like it was Ver. 8.

Selecting Cues in Production editor.
I built a show useing 50 + cues. Due to the nature of the show I'm usiung fairly detailed descriptions In addition, the Name of Production is quite long. This has caused the cue list side of the production editor to display scroll bars. I cannot select cues unless I slide the horizontal scroll bar a...

Validation Error
I set up a music cue, Q1, to start a cue. I then added a Level Change Sub Cue to lower the level. I also added a Sub Cue Reletive Start Time. When I check the Validation, I get this message: ERROR: Q1: Cue to change Q1 must occur before Q1. I'm not sure what this means. The cue works fine tho. Thank...

Save Button Greyed Out (fix in 9.2.1)
When I make a change in the Production Editor, such as changing fade times etc, the Save button does not light until I click on some other part of the screen. This means that if I have to only make one change to a cue, I have to click elsewhere on the screen before moving on to the next cue. This ex...
