Automatic MSC-Controlled Cue Numbering
I don't know how hard this would be to implement, but given the power of being able to control SCS with MIDI Show Control, would it be possible to add an option somewhere that would, when using an external MSC controller, either automatically set all of the "MIDI/DMX Cue" numbers to be the same as n...

Still don't know what was causing the problem, but it went away after the video playback switch, so I don't really care anymore, either.

"Lost" device that works perfectly (fix in 10.7.0 RC1)
Hi Mike, I'm getting an error message that the primary sound device is "lost" every time I start up SCS (even on show files made using this version of SCS on this computer), and yet the "lost" device then proceeds to function properly. It doesn't seem to be causing any usability problems, but the wa...

Some video plays back as visualization (fix in 10.7.0 RC1)
Hi Mike, The theatre I work at just purchased a new computer specifically for video playback capabilities (Windows 7 Professional x64, Core i5, 4G RAM, Radeon 5570, 2x1TB HD RAID 0) running SCS Pro 10.6.3. Video playback at first works very well (with only the odd glitch here or there), but after a ...

Re: Linux & Virtual Box
Old question, recent answer:
Preliminary results are good for audio, anyway, although the interface is obviously very sluggish. Still debating whether I trust VBox enough for a show, though. Guess I'll find out soon...

I noticed this too right after we switched from SCS 9. Can this be fixed?

Re: SCS and Linux
Mike, this is probably a really stupid question, but now that version 10 is out, have you considered open-sourcing an older version?

Re: SCS and Linux
Well, I'm not Wine expert (at least not yet), but it seems to me like I'm having some audio trouble with my installation (for now I'm just using the latest demo). The good news is that it seems like the installation of SCS goes flawlessly, and it loads without any errors. For me, though, when I hit ...

SCS and Linux
This is going to seem like an odd-ball question, but here goes: The theatre I "work" for (it's our college theatre) has a computer we use to run SCS; however, the computer was donated to the school without an operating system. For the last show, I loaned them a spare copy of Windows XP Pro I had kic...

Re: Editing a show on the road.
I'll throw in my two cents: this kind of two-computer operation is how I built the last show I worked on (the theatre's computer was a desktop that I didn't feel like lugging around, and I didn't have a key for the building) and I had absolutely zero problems with it aside from what was mentioned ab...
