Re: Level Change at Cue Markers
> In SCS 11.9.0 (release candidate now available) you can set sub-cues to start 'on cue marker'. For example: > Q1<1>: Audio file cue with cue markers M1, M2, etc assigned > Q1<2>: Level change sub-cue set to start on cue marker M1 of Q1<1> > Q1<3>: Level change sub-cue set to start on cue marker M...

[In 11.9.0] Level Change at Cue Markers
I inserted a couple of cue markets (using F7) in an audio track, where I need to temporarily lower the audio level for some dialogue mid-track and then bring it back up to standard level. Is there an easy way to do this - to convert the cue markets to level Change sub-cues?

Re: Recording from VLC
Thanks for this. I just got a nasty feedback noise when I tried it from Audacity using the default sound outputs but I did manage to get it to work using the Virtual Cable connector. The problem with that is that I can't actually hear it - but I can capture it using VLC.

Recording from VLC
We have a fairly complicated sequence of audio clips, taken from longer sections of music tracks for use in our next show. One of the cast has requested a CD to rehearse to - but he really only wants the few seconds of each track that are actually output by SCS, rather than the entire tracks. I can'...

Convert cue from one type to another
I sometimes insert a note cue - say "Horse Whinnying", when the director says that they need an SFX that I don't have immediately to hand.
As far as I can see there is no way to convert that note to a sound cue when I have the SFX available. It would be handy if I could.

Alternate Show Versions
I build up the show cues over several weeks of rehearsals. Some of the sound cues that I work on are recordings of the rehearsal music - used primarily for rehearsals when the musician(s) aren't there to play the music. When they are there ... and generally for the actual shows ... I don't want thos...

Progress Line not moving on sound cue in design mode
On Sunday I was trying to select the exact start point in a piece of music for a dance reprise. I drag the start bar to somewhere near to where the choreographer thinks it ought to be and start playing. The progress bar is not moving as it plays and so I don't know the current time offset. If I stop...

Re: Chaining another cue to a hotkey cue
Do the pop as a main cue and put a subcue with a delay for the ricochet Just tried it on 10.8.2 and it works so it should be OK on 10.8.3 HTH I know that it will work as a main cue, that wasn't the issue, I wanted to use it as a hotkey. I can get the pop as a hotkey, but as far as I can see I can't...

Chaining another cue to a hotkey cue
Is it possible (latest version 10.8.3) to chain a secondary cue to one that is operated by a hotkey? We have a champagne cork popping effect and a secondary sound of the cork rebounding round the room. I wanted to hotkey the cork popping to (say) "P" and then have the ricochet effect after it. I can...

10.3.2 Problem with Fade Out Times
I was putting together a small cue list for our amateur pantomime earlier today. In a number of places I entered a sound effect of several seconds with a fade-out time of 1 second or so. I note that on several occasions when I went to save the project or move onto the next item that vthe fadeout tim...

What version did I create that in?
I purchased SCS on behalf of my Am. Dram. group around December 2006 and used it for the Sound Cues for last year's Pantomime. This year I downloaded 9.5.1 and used it to create this year's Sound Cues. When I try to open last year's file it asks me which version I created it in ... and I don't know,...
