Re: Can SCS run on Windows LTSC?
Hi Dee, Sorry for the late reply here, I was away from work on extended leave. Thank you for your reply. We ran our windows machine with an enterprise-grade Windows license and some services turned off (Like Ms-Store, Cortana, etc...) but did not have the time to rebuild our machine with an LTSC ver...

Hi Mike, Sorry for the late reply here - I was away on extended leave. Thank you for looking into the forum search functions on the SQL back-end nonetheless. I see Art-Net is now part of the latest release... I will make arrangements to buy the latest release and try it. Thanks again, Chris

Hi Malcolm,
Got it, fair enough. I wasn`t sure who to warn about it. phpBB seemed new to me out here. I`ll suggest that change to them directly then.
Thanks for the feedback,
Regards,
Chris

Can SCS run on Windows LTSC?
Question about the best way to make a great SCS computer build for stability and great performance. Would there be any benefit in setting-up SCS on a Windows LTSC machine? (It's a Windows without the "cruft" - meaning: Kernel only and basic windows services - No Game store, No Cortana, No fluff ) On...

Newtek NDI, Art-net / sACN support & improved forum search engine?
Hello, Given the proliferation of the Ethernet-based streaming protocol, I would love to see these capabilities added to SCS: -The ability to handle Newtek NDI video signals in and out of SCS natively. This would be very helpful to integrate SCS further in a Pro-AV environment and cut down on softwa...

Re: Using NDI as a video streaming source
Hi, I'm wondering if there has been any further development progress to support NDI natively in SCS? ( I do not see much action on this thread in 2022 - yet NDI functionality and popularity is very much on the rise still). NDI tools 5.5.1.0 just came out and we're using it as a main backbone across ...

Re: Multi-Core / Multi-Thread CPU support?
Hi,
Thank you for looking into this. Meanwhile, we will investigate the "SetProcessAfinityMask" feature to see if there is anything obvious in our systems setup. Looking forward to hearing more from you on this.
Best regards,
Chris Legare

Multi-Core / Multi-Thread CPU support?
Good day, We're using a Platinum SCS version on an HP Z820 Workstation-grade computer with twin Xeon processors and NVIDIA K2200 Video cards in a research environment. We use this installation in order to perform various emergency scenarios re-enactments of a public setting. In doing so, we cue audi...
