Thanks guys.
I will try the battery power only to see if that affects it.
Also after research found a few small gizmos which may help.
Will post the results.

Strange buzz when hdmi plugged into pc
Hi, When I plug the hdmi cable into my laptop PC to the venue screen, the foldbak speaker has a hum. Have changed all leads and power points but it still buzzes as soon as I plug the hdmi in. Very weird and wondered if there was any suggestions we have not thought of. Thought it was a earth ptoblem ...

How to change volume of audio MP3 in Edit
Hi,
I know this is a real 'doh' question but it still needs to be asked.
How can one quickly change the volume of a music track on the fly once it is discovered it is too different to the rest of the tracks.
Thanks
oz

[SOLVED] Re: Problem playing mp4 on another laptop.
Well as I didn't think it was the SCS program, I decided to look right into the Latitude and found that either a recent Windows Update or a corrupt driver, was the culprit. Took a lot of time and delving into it but I finally installed an older Realtek Audio driver and that fixed it. Now it all work...

[Solved] Problem playing mp4 on another laptop.
Hi, Firstly Happy New Year to all. I have an 90 minute MP4 slide show file in a project that has worked in SCS on two other laptops but this one it doesn't. It also works using the regular video players but not in SCS. I have checked everything against the other laptop and all data except the screen...

Re: Link to 2 extended screen
Thank you, yes my laptops only have the one HDMI so if the gizmo accepts the feed and distributes it to two outputs, I'd be very happy.
Thanks again

Link to 2 extended screen
Hi, If I needed to output the video to a projector plus the stage screen, can I use this ? They say it can only duplicate the screen , not extend it, however I only need to duplicate what comes of the extended PC screen. Would this little gizmo do it, or is there another, better way? Thanks oz https...

Re: Any dif in retrieval time ?
Ah Haaa. I'm from old school, so still just refer to the drive as HD although it is actually SSD and the ext is a 1TB M.2 SSD. My inquiry actually was for the SD card against the SSD which I have in the Surface Pro, however maybe how SCS is buffering the data is why I don't notice any difference. Th...

Re: Any dif in retrieval time ?
Thank you. Yes I actually have a copy of the folder on both the primary HD and the SSD as well as on a USB and ext HD, so well backed up and sort of ready for any breakdown. I just wondered whether anyone had found that the read time was any quicker from the HD than the SSD, as some of my MP4 video ...

Any dif in retrieval time ?
Hello again ! Just wondering if it is advisable to have all source files in the one folder on the primary drive or a SD card, or whether it makes any difference in video auto start retrieval times. For example I have a string of mp3 files which are sourced from the SCS project folder on the primary ...

How to see what drive-folders the cues are in within SCS
This may be the dumbest question of all, however for the life of me I cannot see where the cue files are located when I am in either performance or or Design in SCS. I see in the first cue which is a video in F:/ but the others only show file name not source. I have various areas where I have SCS fi...

Re: Wifi connection problems Any tips ?
Thanks for the reply. No I haven't done that but will take a look I have tried it with a Lenovo TB-X-104F with Android 8.1.0 but that is the hardest to connect. It is easier with a new Samsung S22 Ultra phone with Android 13 and a smaller Lenono TB-7306F tablet with Android 11. Maybe Android 8 is th...
