Re: PDF_Viewer with SCS
Can be found here: https://da-share.com/forum/index.php I have been playing around with it today and it works for me. Responds to OSC commands to move to the next page or a specific page number. So you can embed OSC instructions in your cuelist (either Manual or Auto Start depending on the circumsta...

PDF_Viewer with SCS
Just would like to bring this to the attention of forum members. David Duffy (Multiplay author) has written a neat little piece of software called PDF_Viewer which interfaces nicely with SCS for those who use digital scripts. The software responds to OSC commands which can be embedded into your cuel...

Re: Preview Window Issue - SOLVED
Issue has been resolved!
I had monitor 2 set as my main display. Swapping the two screens over and re-assigning monitor 1 as my main display fixed the issue.

Preview Window Issue
Hello All Not sure if this a bug or something I have caused. Anyone have any idea why this is occurring? See attached screenshot of dual monitors. Preview window is being correctly displayed on Monitor 1 along with the cuelist, but the contents of the preview window are displayed as a small image em...

Re: Cinema evening with ripped dvd
Hello, Not really an SCS issue, however thought I would offer a couple of observations. You can't really improve on the quality / resolution of the source DVD. If it's just a normal DVD (not Blu-ray) it will be standard definition (480p or 576p). Also the resolution of the device you are using to di...

Re: QLC+ synced to SCS
No problems - I have finally got it! Fairly simple mistake on my part as it turns out. I was just sending a "Note On" command to trigger the next cue. Following up with the same "Note On" to trigger the following cue in the list did nothing. All I needed to do was follow each "Note On" with an immed...

Re: QLC+ synced to SCS
Hello, Would it be too much trouble to expand on this a little? Perhaps some sample setup files from both QLC+ & SCS. OSC is a bit of a mystery to me. I have been fiddling around trying to get QLC+ to respond to MIDI triggers from SCS with limited success - can't get it work reliably and consistentl...

Re: SCS 11.9.4 and Behringer X32
Further to the posts above, I have tested sending various MIDI commands from SCS to an X32 Compact mixer and, with one exception, everything worked. Below are screenshots of my X32 setup and SCS Cuelist. As anticipated, there is an offset of 1 when using the Load Cue command. Cue numbering on Scenes...

Re: SCS 11.9.4 and Behringer X32
Hello, I think I will be able to test this. I have an X32 as well as a Roland UM-ONE USB Midi interface which should do the trick. I'm fairly certain I have used a network call to the X32 in the past and there was no numerical offset i.e. a call to snippet no. 7 activated snippet no. 7. I will play ...

Re: Recording from VLC
Hello, For what its worth, just did a quick test and had no trouble recording SCS audio output through Audacity on my desktop running W10. In SCS, Audio Output device set to - Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio) In Audacity, Audio Host set to - Windows WASAPI; Recording Device set to - Speakers (Realtek(R) ...

Re: Support for LSC Mantra Lite Lighting Console
For your info.
Now have the LSC Mantra Lite in hand.
Yet to fully delve into it, but the remote triggering appears to work just fine exactly as setout in the discussion above.

SCS-X32TC Interface
Hello, Just used the SCS / X32TC system for my first musical show last night - fantastic! Compared to what I have done in the past, this was so much better. As each song was started, I was able to automatically set up the required mic's for that particular piece, bring in a bit of reverb etc. At the...

Re: Support for LSC Mantra Lite Lighting Console
Yes, I am aware of this capability with SCS, but haven't really investigated it yet. I have played around with a free lighting software package called Freestyler with a cheap USB DMX dongle - works fine. However, in our situation, we often need nothing more than the very simple "push up fader, light...

Re: Support for LSC Mantra Lite Lighting Console
Thanks Mike, Haven't actually purchased the desk yet, so it will be a little while before I can confirm all works as expected. I have had my eye on one of these for a while, but it is the recent software upgrade allowing for remote triggering which is the "game-changer". For now, I was just seeking ...

Support for LSC Mantra Lite Lighting Console
I am seriously considering the purchase of an LSC Mantra Lite lighting console following an update to the firmware last month allowing for remote triggering of cues over a network connection. By my reading of the most recent user manual (link below - particularly Sect 16 - Remote Triggering), I shou...
