Windows system error

Hi Mike I'm currently running the sound for a professional pantomime production at the Theatre Royal Bath, England. We're half way through the run of 64 performances and I'm concerned that I've encountered a 'random' error twice during the show which has caused me to lose cues. I say 'random' as it ...

Re: Multi Trigger

Ok thanks Mike. I'll have a look at the help files...it sounds as though I would need to press another button for 'confirmation' after the conductor has pressed his 'start' button, which wouldn't really work in my current situation..it needs to happen automatically as soon as he's pressed start. Nev...

Multi Trigger

Hi. I'm currently using SCS 9.5.4, and am working on a show running lots of sound effects from SCS with some midi commands changing scenes on the mixing desk. The show also includes some click tracks...currently running from a minidisc. Is there a way to run these from SCS...bearing in mind the musi...

Backwards compatability

My home pc is running SCS 9.5.4, and I am about to set up a show for which the venue is running 9.5.3. Will the files I make at home work on the venue's pc?

Run Time error (fix in 9.5.4)

I'm running SCS 9.5.3 and when I am in the editor, purely clicking on the left hand cue list (to view the cue's parameters), I am getting the following error: 'Run time Error' 2147220988 (80040204) Attempt to add rows with no columns It happens when I click on a midi send cue with a timebased start....

Hi Mike

Just got back home from todays shows. I tried your idea of reducing the amount of files opened to 5 and it seems to have done the trick. Many thanks. I'll keep an eye/ear on it, but hopefully it's now sorted. Cheers!

Cue doesn't fade out

Hi Mike. I'm currently half way through a 6 week run of panto at the Theatre Royal Bath, and as sound designer I have chosen to use the excellent SCS. I'm getting a very odd problem though! When I boot up the computer and start running the show, all works well until I get to one particular cue...whi...

Hi Mike I recently downloaded the new version 9.4 and kept getting an error message. I've just downloaded the new 9.4.4, and I'm still getting the error message...which is: SCS Error Error 9 Subscript out of range ProcName=modMixerBasInit nTracePoint=1, i=0, j=0, n=0 CueFile= c:\Program Files\Sound ...

Hot Key Fade Out

I often have several hot keys enabled to trigger pieces of music on the fly. Is there a way to program just one separate hot key to act as a 'Fade Out' the currently being played hot key music? I can set it up to fade out one specific hot key...but it would be handy to be able to have one hot key pr...

Multi output routing

Looking at buying the pro version of this excellent piece of software for professional theatre use, so am trying out the demo version. My problem seems to be in assigning the routing to multi outputs...say 6-8 individual speakers. I am using a Focusrite Saffire Pro 26 i/o sound 'card', which connect...
