Could it be possible to have only the value of the Master Fader, not the fader-"picture" displayed on that position?Mike Daniell wrote:btw, if you choose not to display the Master Fader then (in the next release) the Next Manual Cue field will expand to use that space.

Re: SCS on a Mac with Digidesign-Hardware, using ASIO
I checked the same SCS-file on a Windows XP-only Toshiba-laptop, which I sat up fresh from zero. The MIDI-ports work on the Toshiba, so there must be some kind of installation-bug or whatever on the Bootcamp-Mac. I'll examine this later this week by re-installing Windows XP and ProTools and etc. on ...

Re: SCS on a Mac
I had the chance to check SCS 10.1.3 on an Intel Mac and Bootcamp together with Digidesign's DIGI002R. We're using only the ADAT-outs of the 002R, so I didn't check outs 1 to 8 and 17+18. After restarting SCS, the test-tones worked on all stereo-channels we use quite well. Then I tried to re-program...

Re: Relative Level Change
I second that totally!Yes, option 2 is fine. Might be good to add some visual (red pointer?) indication when the level is capped.

Re: SCS on a Mac
I can't get Windows under Parallels to recognise anything on the USB port, but I haven't really persisted with trying. I'm on the german version of Parallels 2, Build 3224. Some builds had trouble to auto-connect USB-devices to the virtual machines. On [Geräte/USB], maybe [Devices/USB] in the engli...

Re: Support for Midi Controller
When you are designing your cues and establishing levels, for a particular cue do you want to manually adjust a fader on the BCF2000 and have SCS record the MIDI Control Change messages in real time Record the whole movement, like "drawing" a volume in ProTools? Really good idea! I didn't think abo...

Re: Support for Midi Controller
I just can speak for my requirements, not for kmk's, so: the BCF2000 is totally programmable and sends for example Control Change 81, value 0 to 127, on MIDI-channel 1 on movement of it's fader 1 (of 8 faders) on it's default preset. So I'd like to use this fader as replacement of the mouse-to-fader...

SCS on OS X (and/or on IntelMacs)
So there are some users, who have experiences in using SCS on IntelMacs? Could some of you please consider to check on the "Strange Keyboard-problem on Intel-Macs", I posted in my first message in the http://www.soundcuesystem.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=637 thread? Seems, the problem is limited on lo...

...so I wouldn't expect you to need to use the menu item very often. Thanks for your thoughts "behind the curtain"! Initially I was uncomfortable with the fact, that menu-enabling the Editor...-button, "stole" some information on the upper cue-list. Good point. I'll include that in the next update....

And some additional information: SCS-Professional 9.3.5, on a MacBookPro, 15", (BootCamp), Win XP Pro SP2 updated, and on a MacBookPro, 17", (Parallels), Win XP Pro SP2 updated. As soon as we have another licence for Windows, we'll install on a MacPro too, but that can last some time. Seems to be di...

Which version of SCS are you using? 9.3.5. In 9.3.4 it was the same. Another strange thing: if I close the editor, the word "Hot Keys" is "highlighted" and seems to be the focused item for both the "Enter"- and the "Return"-keys. -> without clicking somewhere else, no cue is recalled. Gues what: th...

Edit-mode- and MIDI-reminder-request
- Instead of enabeling the edit-mode in the menu and opening the editor with another click, I'd like to have ONE button for both tasks. Above the "Go To Top/Go Back/Go To Next/Go To End"-buttons, there's enough free space for this and perhaps for a "Save as..."-button. - If there are some MIDI-event...

Strange Keyboard-problem on Intel-Macs
We're using Intel-Macs for SCS, one running Win XP natively, one with Parallels. The problem, I'm reporting, is on both of them. In our first SCS-"powered" show, there are some wav-files with some manually triggered level-change-cues. If I manually skip some time of the running sound-file by clickin...

Pause/Continue
...one feature that is available now is that if you do pause a cue and want to go back 15 or so seconds you can click on the progress slider... Ah, yes, thanks for that hint! That helps a bit. Sorry, I missmatched theatrical cues with SCS-Cues. But what I actually meant, was a sort of "global" paus...
