Windows 11 has the solution.
Windows Key + P brings the old menu optopns up.
I selected extend.
Problem solved.

Another thought about the time of day clock. If the clock were always visible, it could be below the min/max/edit buttons. There would be nothing above the clock it so it would fit rather nicely.
