MTC not tracking cursor position
A have a bunch of songs that play fine, and should I need to jump the cursor to wherever in the song, the MIDI time code will follow accordingly. Except for one song, where it just continues to free run from the start time. I cannot fathom as to why it is doing this, as it appears to be identical to...

Re: Maximum audio outs.
Hi Mike,
Sorry it's taken a while to get back.
I went to create a log file as you requested and it seems all 64 channels are now showing up in SCS.
Probably pilot error on my part.
Best regards,
Rob

Re: Maximum audio outs.
Hi Mike,
This doesn't help me much because I am using a 64 channel desk (PreSonus X64S) which is effectively one device.
I really need around 12 stereo pairs as backing tracks.
Regards,
Rob

Maximum audio outs.
I am running SCS Pro Plus, which the guide claims gives me 16 outputs per cue.
Is there any possibility of expanding that as eight stereo sends is insufficient for our needs?
Regards,
Rob

Re: Using NDI as a video streaming source
Hi Mike,
I am just bumping this request as it's been a while and I wondered if there was any progress on the NDI front.
It's just that I have now purchased Capture 2021 and getting video into a visualiser is now becoming pressing.
Many thanks,
Rob

Re: DMX Capture for Lighting Cues
As an update, having spent a bit more time burying my head in the Onyx manual, I can confirm that it will respond to MIDI Time Code via a software MIDI loopback on the same machine. It took me a little while to realise one must also add a timecode cue to start the timestream, and set it to stop and ...

Re: Using NDI as a video streaming source
Hi Mike,
Well from what I can deduce, the protocol/API is freely available at no cost.
They make their money off the hardware.
The main advantage of NDI over others like CITP is they use a non-lossy streaming codec, instead of whole frames.

Using NDI as a video streaming source
Hi all, I know that SCS already has a proprietary streaming server, but it seems the industry is coalescing into a common standard with Network Device Interface (NDI) . I use SCS along with both live projectors and lighting/media visualisers like Capture that are now NDI compliant. I would like to s...

Re: DMX Capture for Lighting Cues
Interesting.
I am using Onyx as a lighting platform, and it can trigger cues off OSC, MIDI and also MIDI Time Code as it has a built in cue list that can be triggered at preset times. I will experiment and see which seems best for the job and get back to you.

Re: DMX Capture for Lighting Cues
I would also be interested in anything regarding SCS control over DMX cues.
Will it be possible to run SCS and lighting software on the same machine in order for them to "talk" to each other?
Regards,
Rob

[Mod 11.8.2.2] Locking video and audio cues
I have a video file I would like to remain in sync with a number of audio cues. Whether the video is the cue and audio the subcues, or vice versa, the subcues are marked "Auto", and if I jump the main cue forwards, the subcues do not follow. The video and audio files are all exactly the same length,...

Re: How do you distribute video out of SCS?
From what I can discern, video is defined as "screens", so any video devices, be they monitors or projectors are set up in the video options setup. Each video cue can then be directed to a specific screen number (ie projector). So assuming you have one monitor and two projectors, Screen 1 is your mo...
