Ending a looping audio file
We want to loop an audiofile, and when Go is pressed, release the current loop and then progress to the next cue - but only progress when the current loop has completed. It appears (we think) that when the loop is released, that even though the file does play to the end of the current loop, the cue ...

[Resolved] Image (.jpg) - Full Screen Display
We have a .jpg file that we need to display on our projector, which is connected to Windows 11 using a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. Once we've located the file using Explorer and double click it, it completely fills the screen horizontally. In our particular case, we want the image to fill th...

MIDI: Getting started - need some newbie info
We are considering a MIDI approach to firing SCS cues from an attached device. We would like to be able to fire a specific cue using a MIDI device, but without changing the production Next Manual cue. Is this possible? Also, as far as MIDI is concerned: We see that there are iPad apps (TouchOSC, e.g...

Re: DMX Display Grid
OK - I see now where the colors are set: Production properties -> Fixture Types -> Channel. It's simply a preference, not indicative of any special state, or such.

DMX Display Grid
What is the significance of the various channel value colors (black, green, red) in the DMX display grid? (And where should I have been able to find this info out for myself?)

What are "Active fixtures"?
In the context of fading, what are "active fixtures"? The fixtures included in this cue? All cues? And what makes them "active?"
Thanks.

Controlling lighting PAN and TILT
Will SCS allow us to show (and use) faders used to control DMX PAN and TILT channels?
Alternatively, it would be useful to attach a joystick device to our SCS Windows PC and use it to control SCs cues - is that possible?

Video Display on MS Display Adapter-attached Device
Seems like I fought through this problem a couple of years back, and here I am again. :-( I have a second display device (projector) accessed from Windows 10 using a MicroSoft Display Adapter. It connects with laptop just fine, and through Windows settings I can configure it run as an extended displ...

BPM Display Question
Currently on 18..2.2 I am setting up my first Chase lighting cue, and needed to specify a BPM value (different form the Production default). All that went well. I notice that the BPM value is displayed at the upper right, and a little marker flashes in accordance with the value last set for BPM. My ...

Audio, but No Video
I'm afraid this is probably a newbie problem, so apologize in advance. Nevertheless, it did cause us some grief this morning: I have a one-cue (video) show defined. On my new 64-bit Windows laptop, when I ran that cue, I got audio out, but no video (from an HDMI attached device connected through the...

Re: Video Cue Display When No Second Diisplay Device
Thanks, Mike.
I am on a new laptop tonight, and it does, indeed, show the title bar. On my old laptop, there was no such bar.
All is well.

Video Cue Display When No Second Diisplay Device
We occasionally test video cues when there's really no second device attached. In that case, SCS places a small display of the video on the SCS show screen. However, sometimes that little preview is on top of stuff we'd like to see. It would be nice if we could move that little pane/window around. O...

Difficulty fading in image
Our presentation has a number of Video cues that show still images (.jpg'). Most of these fade in, but in the SCS Editor, some of them do not have the Fade In entry field enabled. I suspect this is the result of how the jpegs were produced, but don't know what to do make sure that the images are cre...

Need Newbie Help Sith Visual Cue(s)
Would like to include video cues that behave thusly: 1. When the cue starts, the associated .mp4 file shows on attached display device but the PC screen continues to display SCS 2. When the .mp4 is finished, want the attached display screen to blank I am using a Microsoft Display Adapter on the proj...
