Hi, can you please send a logfile of this to support@showcuesystems.com, logfiles can be found in your "documents\scs logs" folder.
Also Enttec have stopped supporting the MK2 dongle and have totally removed it from their website. I used to have one but it was unreliable and died on me.

Re: Support for QLab files
Hi, you can import from .csv files, can qlab export such? The internet suggests that .qlab files are JSON, so parsing for input may be possible. However I don't have a Mac or qlab to investigate. You may be able to convert to .csv with one of the online tools. https://formatjsononline.com/json-filter

Please email us the log file from the run in which this happened. Log files are saved in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents", and the name of each file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started. Email to support@showcuesystems.com

Did you try it with the laptop running on battery only? If it is quiet on battery it could be something to do with your laptops power supply.

Re: Start playback track on DAW (e.g. Ableton live)
You would just send to the appropriate MIDI port. In SCS you would add a Control Send device and then add choose the device type MIDI out followed by selecting the device and port. Please refer to the MIDI control send section of the help files. https://showcuesystems.com/scs11help/index.htm?context...

Re: I cannot figure out this "How to"
You can also check in Options \ Video Driver Settings that Screen(s) for cues is set to the correct display, normally 2. In the video cue editing screen you can set the individual Screen(s) by clicking the "Screen" button. There is also a known bug where if your screen 2 is set to the left of screen...

Re: USB DMX VCP?
SCS talks to the FTDI ftd2xX64.dll The FTDI D2XX API (ftd2xx.dll) is a direct driver interface provided by FTDI for interacting with their USB-to-serial devices without the need for a virtual COM port (VCP). Using the D2XX API allows you to bypass the virtual COM port and directly control the FTDI d...

Re: Prospective new user - after 7.1 audio, DMX control and video with stability - comment from existing users?
SCS should be able to achieve all that you want although I would have to dig into some SDK documents if the 7.1 audio is being decoded from a video stream. SCS logs every run an you can send these to support@showcuesystems.com in the event of a problem. There is also a very friendly Facebook group f...

Here is the link to the Enttec Pro DMX dongle firmware page recommending that you use version 1.44 rather than 2.4 unless you are using RDM.
