Re: More fixture channels needed
Hi Mike There's no Make/Model as it's from China. It's a '6 Head Smart Beam Moving' The whole unit pans and the 6 individual RGBW LED heads tilt independently, hence the large number of channels required for full operation. There is a 17 channel reduced function mode. I tried to attach pictures of t...

[Mod 11.8.2.2] More fixture channels needed
SCS 11.8.2.1 (x64)
This is a mixture of bug report and wish list.
We've just purchased a new fixture that has 38 channels. SCS only supports 32. Any chance of an increase? I would assume fixtures will only increase in their functions as the technology changes.

Re: Blocking Windows 10 Updates
Windows 10 Update now has the option to Pause Updates for a number of days.
The only slight drawback is, if you are involved in a long run, that once that time is up you have to run update before you can pause again.

Re: 'Channel' Display Window vs DMX Display Window
Not wishing to over complicate this feature I can see a use for an option to display fixtures that have the dimmer channel set at 0 but have values >0 in other channels e.g. to review/check the pan/tilt/function have been set correctly in readiness for the dimmer channel to be turned up by a later c...

Re: 'Channel' Display Window vs DMX Display Window
Yes, it can be confusing. I always think in terms of channels, and in the case of a fixed installation; a socket. This is probably from my early days of Strand Jumior 8 wire-wound dimmers! DMX when it came was, and really still is, just an address that's used internally to switch the correct logic. ...

Re: 'Channel' Display Window vs DMX Display Window
I don't think that would help me. It would be fine - as is the current display - for DMX addresses greater than 72 as our fixtures start at Chan/DMX 73. Another advantage of the current display is that the whole universe is visible in a relatively small window which can be overlaid on the main panel...

[Mod 11.8.3.2] 'Channel' Display Window vs DMX Display Window
Under View, would it be possible to have a 'channel' display as well as a DMX display. The majority of our fixtures are single channel Profiles or Fresnels. Our sockets are numbered 1 through 72 and are hardwired to 3 (3 phase) dimmer racks of 24 channels, but they are not wired 1 for 1. The sockets...

[Fix 11.8.2.1] Error message box required
11.8.2
If, during 'Collect Production Files' the destination becomes full there is no indiction that your files are incomplete.
Assuming Windows returns a non-zero to the write could SCS pop-up a message box with the error?

Re: Fades on Toggle Hot Keys
I need to Toggle a fixture on top of existing lighting. If I select 'Fade out time for others' I lose the existing lighting state.
'Fade time for the above' works fine when Toggling the fixture ON, but is not used when I Toggle the fixture OFF - it snaps.

Fades on Toggle Hot Keys
A Toggle Hot Key currently uses the fade time when toggling On, but snaps when toggling Off. Would it be possible to use the fade time when toggling Off?

Re: Arguments for Call Cues
Mike, are you suggesting the best of both worlds? The fade times could either be set to unique values or $1 $2 to accept parameters from the 'Call Cue' cue? That sounds great.
