Re: Control Send Remote Device for Behringer Wing
I have now got this working over ethernet too. On the Wing, make sure on SETUP > REMOTE > REMOTE LOCK that OSC and TCP are unlocked/on. Control Send Remote Device: Other OSC Device OSC Version: 1.0 Network Protocol: UDP Network Role: SCS is a Network Client Connect when required: unchecked Dummy Con...

Re: Control Send Remote Device for Behringer Wing
Aaaah. Found a magic spell for USB.
MIDI Out Port Wing MIDI DAW 2 works - but not 1.
I can control channel and bus levels but not DCA levels - DCA mutes are ok. Any ideas?!
Thanks.

Control Send Remote Device for Behringer Wing
I can successfully control my A&H CQ18T via USB having found the magic combination of settings, but I can't get control of my Wing Compact to work, either via USB or network.
Has anyone recorded screen shots of the steps by any chance? SCS version 11.10.7
Thanks!

Re: 2021 hardware recommendations
Can someone point me to anything in Help or elsewhere that explains how to use a linked PC? Is it done with "Run External Program Cues"? Thanks.

Re: 2021 hardware recommendations
Thanks Mike. Just sometimes they want four different videos. Elsewhere I have read that 1 good graphics card per two projectors so we would need to cards. Do you think we would still be challenged? If so then linked PCs would be best?

2021 hardware recommendations
I have searched for a recent post without success. My theatre is looking to replace an ageing PC. I want to argue for a best spec PC rather than cutting corners. Directors do like their video but I would plan for HD quality at the most. I need to expect a maximum of 4 projectors. Is this along the r...

VST plugins and Live Sound
I suspect that this would be a step too far... but would it be possible to apply plugins to live sound inputs? Thanks.

Re: Making the best use of SSD
Thanks Mike. With almost monthly productions and a large number of sound people I think the best approach is to put the newest productions on the SSD and then after the run to move them off and onto a standard disk.
And thanks re how SCS works.

Making the best use of SSD
I note the comments in the Help that cue files do well placed on an SSD.
Is there a setting somewhere to help SCS cache files on an SSD - I presume it does that or is it in memory?
And is it worth moving SCS onto the SSD, possibly with Windows too?
Thanks.

64 and 32 bit
Is there any benefit in using the 64 bit version of SCS over the 32 bit? Are there any known or likely issues with mixing 64 and 32 eg 64 bit SCS, 64 bit output device driver and a second 32 bit output device driver? We have been having random freezes in SCS. The only PC memory issue is a 'hammer' v...

Coping with actor errors
There is a good thread on operator error (double go) but can anyone offer any tips for handling actor errors eg skipping lines with a cue, (with no background fx, with background fx or sub-cues)? And what about an actor who repeats lines with a cue? I know that a single escape stops the current cue,...
