Re: Hotkey/Toggle for image fade

How about a SFR cue with the action "FADE OUT and then HIBERNATE" to "All playing video/image cues"?
Restore with "RESUME hibernating cue (with fade in if applicable)".
I haven't tried it, so I have no idea if it works! RESUME may not like the possibility of more than one image being hibernated.

Re: Newtek NDI, Art-net / sACN support & improved forum search engine?

- Lastly: ( a minor thing but annoying nonetheless) Please fix this Forum search box so that one can actually search 3-letter words! the minimum 4-letter requirement in order to execute a search is an impediment to many relevant topics subjects. I'm sure many of us would like to know what success a...

Re: Stop cue playing before it is finished and skip to next cue.

Not quite sure why you don’t want to follow Mike’s suggestion, which will achieve just what you want without fiddling with the mouse (assuming you use the space bar as GO rather than mousing up to the GO button). ‘All playing cues’ or ‘All playing audio cues’ does what it says on the tin, and will s...

Re: Back to top on red button stop in Perform moded

The red 'Stop All' button is a bit drastic if you just want to stop the running cue in Performance Mode, when the individual cue transport buttons disappear. Indeed, if your Performance Mode is set up to hide the toolbar, you will have to resort to 'Esc' to stop a cue. Slightly less abrupt is 'Fade ...

Re: Tearing out hair

Sorry to hear of your problems. In due course Mike will be along to help and will probably ask you to send a Diagnostic file. Meanwhile, my go-to first response to erratic behaviour is to do an over-the-top re-install of the existing version, in case the program has become corrupted in some way. You...

Re: Changing Projector Screen Size

I haven't tried it but a simple way to do it might be: In your cue file, with the projector running, in the Editor select the first image cue. Adjust the xPos, yPos, Aspect and Size (%) to fit the new screen. Select 'Other v' and 'Copy position, size and aspect into clipboard'. For each subsequent i...

Digital Certificate

Installing 11.9.0 on both my WS7 computers, on first start up Norton 360 firewall complained that there was no valid digital certificate. Knowing the source I overrode this!

Re: Video Cues

Assuming you want the image to persist through several audio cues, have you set a display time or 'continuous' in the panel beside the image in the Editor? If you set it to be continuous it will persist until replaced by another image or stopped with a SFR cue.

How about a "change level of all playing cues" cue?
That would not cover the scenario of other cues playing concurrently on other devices, e.g. onstage, which need to remain unaffected.

Re: converting a cue to a sub-cue and vica-versa

Where are you looking and what are you expecting? In the Editor select a cue. On the left is a stack of arrow buttons. To make it a sub-cue, click the button that points right and up. To make a sub-cue into a cue, select the sub-cue and click the left arrow button. This is definitely present in 11.8...

[Fix 11.8.4.1] 11.8.4 Reverse fade bug in Resume from Hibernate

I have three FX cues in a play prepared last March under SCS11.8.2.2 that cover the sequence Q11 "Play Music 1", Q13 "Fade and Hibernate Music 1" and Q17 "Resume Music 1". The action of the latter is "RESUME hibernating cue (with fade in if applicable)". The fade in at the beginning of the file is 0...

Re: skipping cues and cues not running

Whilst Mike waits to interpret your log file, a couple of points occur to me. When you mention "press play", you are hitting the 'Go' button (top left of screen) or the space bar aren't you, not just the play button under the individual track? (Others have done it). When SCS misbehaves, it's worth t...

Try searching for 'UMC1820' in the Search box. You will find comments that you have to use ASIO drivers to see all the outputs. There don't seem to be other problems.

Re: Run Time

You can check on the aggregate time of all the cues by going, in the Main Window toolbar, to View | Current Information. If you want to check on the running time as you go, in the Editor toolbar, go to Production | Production Timer Actions. For the first number select 'Start timer (at 0:0) when cue ...
