Re: Plane fly over, how to do?
Hi Mike, Thanks for your input. I have had a thought. I am going to try running 2 identical sound files with the whole sequence on both, starting at exactly the same time, one assigned to the rear speakers and one to the stage speakers, then adjust the levels and fade in and outs of each file separa...

Plane fly over, how to do?
Hello all, I want to have the sound effect of a light aircraft flying over the theatre and seemingly crashing on stage. There are a pair of speakers at the rear of the auditorium, a pair at the front of the stage and a pair at the rear of the stage. All are 2 channel stereo through the USBX card of ...

Re: Audio cue didn't play
Thanks for the reply Mike. I remembered that I was running a tracing version before upgrading to the current. You got me to run a tracing version after I encountered some problems with the space bar, post "False Triggers" on 11th April refers. I think the tracing version was 11.5.0 (or an early vers...

Audio cue didn't play
Hi Mike, Yesterday I upgraded to the latest version 11.5.2.1 32 bit on a 64 bit pc. I believe the previous version was 11.4.2.3 but not sure. (professional licence). At rehearsal last night a manually operated audio cue of about 4 seconds duration was triggered but no audio was outputted. The cue sh...

Re: False Triggers
Hi Mike, No I don't think the pausing would have been caused by holding the key down too long. The cue advanced to the next manual key as normal. The audio cue that paused virtually straight away was set to fade out in about another 10 cues so there was nothing to tell it to pause. The following cue...

False Triggers
Hi all, I have been using Showcue with great success and am very impressed. However, when triggering a cue by pressing the space bar yesterday (an audio cue), it immediately paused by itself after 1 second or less but the timer showed 1 sec, and also before that on a different occasion (midi note on...

Re: SCS relay control
Hi David,
Sorry for the delayed reply, I haven't signed in for a while.
I have the board connected through a Roland UM-One Midi adapter, works well. Let me know if you need help setting up the commands.
Cheers
Geoff.

Re: SCS relay control
Update.
The board arrived a week or so after ordering, and within minutes I installed the driver and configured the board. Very straight forward.
Recommended, does what I need ideally. SCS drives it flawlessly.

Re: USB 8 Channel 12v Relay Module For switching devices
Hi David,
I would also be interested in this, I have posted recently about relay boards.
Hopefully someone, perhaps Mike will be able to assist.
cheers

SCS relay control
Hi all, This is my first post, I have recently taken over the technical responsibilities for the Garrick Theatre in Guildford, Western Australia. I need a 4 or 8 relay interface that is easily recognisable and controlled by SCS either by midi or other, by USB or com port. Ideally I would like to pur...
