Wrong behaviour vhen connected to projector
Hi Mike, Happy Saturday evening. I'm experiencing some strange behaviour and wonder if you might have any suggestions. The show I'm working on has 2 video cues. As programmed they work fine on my home machine connected to a VGA monitor but on the theatre playback machine, as soon as you boot the des...

Video Formats
Just a quick question... Is there a list of video formats accepted by SCS11? The next show I'm doing involves some video projection and I got lazy yesterday and tried to use the H.264 version I'd made to post on Youtube to get the director's approval of my edit. Simply loading the cue reproduced vid...

Re: Audio output to USB device selection - solved
Late to the party, but... Besides getting it detected for the production settings, I've found the when you turn things on in the theatre, it's best to have you UCA202 connected and working before you start SCS. It seems to be a bit random whether SCS will pick up your interface if you plug in the US...

Re: Use of Auto Start sub cues
Thanks for your offer of help but the process of checking which cues worked and which didn't for the diagnostic file has led me to the solution. I was filling in the "Auto Start" section in the main cue section (the green area at the top of the edit) as well as in the sub cue section below. I've now...

Use of Auto Start sub cues
I'm going crazy! I have SCS Standard. On a production I'm working on now, I have multiple cues that I want to start (as a manual cue) at full level, then, after six seconds, fade to a lower level for dialogue. I'm trying to do this using a Sub cue set to auto start 6 seconds after the start of the p...

Re: Right Click for Manual Cue Became Intermittent
Just to keep you updated, back in the theatre today and SCS was flawless as usual. Right click worked every time. FYI, just in case it was significant, I kept the cursor on the black area around the meter display though that didn't seem to be the cause of problems in other experiments. I'll keep an ...

Re: Right Click for Manual Cue Became Intermittent
No...I was too busy finding the Space Bar. However, if it happens again I'll be sure to note the cursor position. FYI, I just tried to recreate the problem by putting the cursor on the scroll bar and/or Windows title bar and couldn't make it go wrong though. Tomorrow is another dark night so I'll tr...

Re: Right Click for Manual Cue Became Intermittent
Sorry, I should have said but it was late last night and I was very tired...worst bug report I've ever done.
Anyway, I'm on 11.4.2.3. Bulld 2016 03 07.

Right Click for Manual Cue Became Intermittent
Had a funny tonight. Two weeks into a three week run, using a Lenovo laptop with external USB interface for playback, the use of a right click for a manual cue became intermittent on the third cue of the second act. Luckily it was a particularly time-critical cue and starting with the space bar a se...

Re: Triggering Level Sub Cues
I find the manual level change cue very useful for most things since timings never stay exactly the same in live theatre...an actor stumbling over a work or missing a line happens all too often. I have a large number of such cues in my current project which involves a singer standing in the corner s...

Re: Make Hot Key List Window Wider
Thanks!
I've done my own workround for this one but it would be useful to be able to drag the edges as you can with other parts of the window.

Make Hot Key List Window Wider
I'm sure I must be missing something in the documentation, but...
I'm doing a show that uses a fair number of hot keys. Is there any way to make the window that lists which effect is on which key a bit wider to cope with my verbose file naming?

Re: 'Note' cues that 'jump' automatically
I just wanted to say that this hint...and Boswell's updated idea...are the best thing since sliced bread. Without going into the details, I'm doing a show where I need a LOT of note cues reminding me to make routing changes and this is a life saver. Thanks both of you!

Changing Registration
Apologies if this is dealt with elsewhere but I can't find it in the FAQ or documentation. I have a single user SCS licence and, like many, have it installed on my home studio "DAW" computer and also a portable for use at theatres. It looks like I may be changing that portable soon and was just wond...
