Re: Behringer X32 with SCS
That's great Mike, thanks. I bet you sometimes wonder if the SCS project will ever be 'complete'!

Re: Behringer X32 with SCS
Coming squarely from a 'Musical Theatre' point of view ... friendly, 'pre written' channel mutes would be a boon. Even better if there could be combined mute/fader level cues. Even better with fader level change speed control. Mute groups is debatable, as the X32 only has capacity, it seems, for 6 m...

Re: Behringer X32 with SCS
Hopefully you'll forgive the naivety of this post, as we are very much on an X32 learning curve. Fact is, we have just bought an X32, gotten our heads mostly round it and realised two things. The 'live theatre/musical' control/recall side of the X32 is 'limited' and external control of some sort is ...

Re: SCS relay control
Successfully built a 'midi mute system' recently, using this board http://www.robot-electronics.co.uk/htm/midi-rly8.htm . We had the relays open and close the channel inserts on an analogue desk, to 'mute' mic channels and fired the board with SCS. It never missed a beat, even using a £3 USB to Midi...

A quick 'follow up' on this topic
Two thoughts: Using the 'collect production files' then copy/paste folders in Windows explorer method is a) horribly easy to get wrong, especially under pressure and b) depending on the sheer weight of the media files, potentially quite time consuming. (a recent show I designed came in at 2.3 Gb and...

same show, same cue, same file - different behaviour
I have the same show, same cue, same file running on a theatre laptop and a home PC. On the home PC, all is well - a 0.69 sec wav plays and stops (attachment 2). On the theatre laptop, the file reports being 4:15.31 long. It plays for 0.69 seconds, then freezes. (attachment 1). Last night, SCS froze...

[In 11.5.1] A 'Backup to Pen Drive' button
A 'Backup Show, Files, Colour Scheme' to a pen drive 'button'?
I realise this can be done via the 'collect show files' dialogue and Windows explorer, but a 1 click backup method would be great.

A more friendly/quicker way to add Midi Mute Cues for, say, controlling radio mic channels on a digital sound desk - much like the attached

Pause All - except one!
I have a series of auto start cues which the cast and crew of the show are 'working to'. Normally, the sequence of cues work fine, but there is a good chance that scenic movement issues may require the sequence to be paused. I would like to be able to Pause All if there's a problem - all except one!...

Device Test Tone
For testing multiple device sends, a Pan control for Test Tones would be handy. And for minimising irritation levels caused to directors, casts, stage crew etc., a choice of tones/sounds would be great!

[Fix 11.3.5] previous image cue not 'clearing'
Slight problem with previous image cue not 'clearing' and next video cue 'overlaying' that image.
Running 11.3.4 - didn't happen before.

Asterix after Cue Type
I know this is a daft Q, but I can't find the answer ... In the Cue Type column, what does an asterix after the Cue Type mean? (Video * or Image * or Memo *)
