Thanks. Any idea when it will be available?Mike Daniell wrote:Thanks for the extra info. I'll treat this as a Feature Request as the functionality is not currently available.

Re: Loop commands
There's no facility to break out of a loop when completed - but I'll consider that as a Feature Request. Not sure what you mean by SCS couldn't select a 'previous' loop in the cue list just 'subsequent' cue order... . Could you give an example of what you want to do? btw, what's IOW live ? Play a n...

Loop commands
Will SCS currently allow breaking out of loop A and into a new loop B on a midi command, but only when the loop A has completed to it's end point, not immediately the midi command is sent? Ultimately I'm looking for something to play four or more loops sequentially in a post-arranged (IOW live) orde...

Can't think of a way to do this in SCS unless you have a scheduled order in which the files are to be played. If you do use a 'scheduled order' but use midi triggering can you (re-)trigger a cue earlier in the schedule, or do they always need to be 'in order' so that a low number cue can only auto-...

I haven't tried the settings you are using, but I suspect the 120 DPI setting is the cause. My setting is 96 DPI (Normal size). Could you email me a screen shot of what you are getting? Mike Daniell mdaniell@optusnet.com.au If I change to 96 DPI everything in the edit screen is now in the 'frame' b...

SCS is developed on a 1024 x 768 screen so there should be no problem. What version of Windows are you using? The following applies to Windows XP so may be different if you are using something else: Right-click on your desktop and open the Properties window. Under Appearance what do you have for th...

loop style
Can the current SCS loop in the same style as the Roland RC20 loop sampler? That is. play a loop continuously until the next sound or loop is selected when the current loop plays out it's cycle fully and the next loop automatically starts on completion of that cycle? IOW it's a 'pre-selector' operat...

1024x768 screen?
Does the current SCS editor window fit in a 1024x768 screen? I'm looking at the V9.2.2 demo and the run screen fits (and can be resized) but the editor window is clipping some of the buttons at 1024x768 and I can't find any options to resize or scroll.

I presume at the moment you rely on pressing the footswitch at exactly the right time but want the flexibility of being able to press the footswitch a bit earlier and let SCS control the timing. The RC20 does it automatically, but only by stepping forward or backward through the memory 'slots', whi...

I don't currently know how easy it would be to implement this but I'll look into it in the future. It will probably be worth the look. If it is implemented in SCS you can get included in the ReWire users list, along with the big names like ProLogic, Steinberg, Ableton etc. (so their users know abou...

No specific plans, Eric, but I have no intention of implementing a Mickey Mouse system, so you can be sure that when this does come off the drawing board it will have some respectable functionality. This probably means a few parametric EQ controls. Regards, Mike Have you considered implementing ReW...

icarusi, I'm not familiar with the RC20, but my reading of your requirement suggests you want the MIDI cue activation message to be buffered until a previous cue has completed. Is that a correct interpretation of your requirement? Possibly. I need a loop to play continuously until I select the next...

However, if you want to just block the operator from starting a cue until an earlier cue is completed then, no, SCS doesn't have that feature. That's a feature I require, so I can select loops of sound ad hoc via midi but ensure a loop plays out fully before the next selected loop begins automatica...
