Stop a chase
How can I stop a chase without setting 'Next lighting cue stops chase'.
I want to call other lighting cues without stop the chase and stop the chase later.
Regards,
Lluís

Two bytes fader
I have a midi controller (ioStation24c of Presonus) that has a touch fader that sends two pitch bend bytes changing the LSB byte too.
From Pitch bend 0 LSB 0 to Pitch bend 127 LSB 127 (see attached image)
LSB can only set to a permanent value in control send
How can I set it to control SCS Fader?

Re: ASIO Behavior
Most ASIO controllers only allow one connection. If SCS is using it no other program can use it. There are some ASIO drivers from some brand that allow it, but I have the Focusrite one and the Presonus one and neither allows it. To get around this limitation of asio I use the "Asio Link Pro" control...

Re: Very small delay when starting a cue
@Vellemum I've been investigating a little with my laptop, and I can reproduce the behavior and fix it. If I stop the computer by closing the display (or suspending or hibernating) and then start it, the small delay persists. If I shut de computer down with the windows button and the start it, the d...

Re: Very small delay when starting a cue
I detected this behavior in w11 with realtek internal audio chipset with any audio or video software. I've seen this behavior inside Nuendo while playing if there is a section with no sound. Some milliseconds at the start of an audio segment do not sound. This do not happen with any external audio d...

Re: Video Requirements
Hi Henry, I have a computer like yours and I can play video, music, lights and control the mixer with no issues at the same time. The video plays smoothly or not depending on the codec, bit rate and frame rate, not only frame size. I can render a 720p video that will play jerky and a 4k video that w...

Re: Release from loop and start next cue
You can set the next cue to be started with the start of the sfr cue.

Re: Hotkey/Toggle for image fade
You can create a SFR cue with the action "FADE OUT and then STOP" to "All earlier video/image cues"
And add activation mode to hotkey.
Maybe this helps.

Re: New computer specs
Can you play the files in the laptop smoothly with other media player? The videos have a reasonable bit rate? I mean, if the projector is 1920x1080 you do not need a 4k video file (re-render it). With common 1920x1080 videos, the bit rate of 10Mbps is enougth (Youtube specs.). Stop all unnecessary s...

Re: Audio not starting immediately
YES, YES, YES!!!
I have a HP OMEN laptop with realtek audio device that have this issue. Usually it is not a problem because I use an external audio module but it was annoying while testing with the internal audio.
Thanks for sharing this trick.

Lluís

Re: Mapping 40 lighting cues in a new theatre
I do something like this. I create fixture types to define channels for the fixture. FixtureTypes.JPG Then I create a theatre distribution with lights with names and fixture types and I set the dmx channel. lighting map.JPG The light cues have a list of lights by name with its setups. light cue.JPG ...
