"Current state" (?) I'll try to explain... Subcue related (?)
FIRST OFF - SUBCUES - I noticed that you can copy a cue and paste it before or after a cue. You can copy a SUBCUE and paste it as a new subcue. But you can't copy a CUE and paste it as a SUBCUE of a cue. Any particular reason that can't happen...? Anyway -- Long time user, got the performing arts fa...

[Mod 11.6.0] Change "default" options / parameters?
Production properties -- Device map, cue increments, output level, countdown, master fader level -- Could there be a way to "save as template" or something of that sort? Just about everything I do has audio where -3 (the default) is far too high and I *try* to remember to change that to -10 or -12 b...

Video / Image Crossfades - Lil' help here (11.4.0.3), TVG
Just trying to understand -- And for starters, I love it. I could swear that at least *fading* worked at some point, but then suddenly, not so much. It's working on this new version and I'm stoked. But at the same time slightly confused as to the next transition cross fade function... For example - ...

Re: Silencing Windows notifications
I know it was kind of glossed over in there, but by far, the best solution IMO is to use a dedicated ASIO interface. Even a cheap one (USB, whatever) that ISN'T MAPPED THROUGH WINDOWS MIXER and ISN'T THE DEFAULT DEVICE. Then, Windows or any other system sounds (mail, antivirus, what have you) will s...

Re: Awful 'Double GO' and 'Exclusive Cues' (to prevent it)
Now THAT is awesome. There are cues I DON'T tag as exclusive *just in case* something of that sort happens. But knowing that it's exclusivity can be overridden is going to change that... [EDIT] *AND* (how cool is this...) one of the most SCS-intensive productions I run every year is a film festival....

Re: From Standard to Professional and back -- Anything lost?
That's kind of a relief. I'm not sure which levels everyone involved are using at this point.

From Standard to Professional and back -- Anything lost?
So here's the story -- It's hypothetical at the moment, but I know it's coming up soon. Say a show is designed in Standard -- And the machine at the venue is running Professional -- And it's decided to add some volume curves (and thank gawd for those) -- and then say it goes back to the designer run...

This works -- Is this pretty "solid" (for lack of a better term)?

Plays fine and then jumps a track or two ahead at the end of active cue. Sometimes skips one, sometimes several, seemingly random. Hasn't actually played the next cue yet though. DirectSound/BASS/etc.
EDIT -- Just went back and it started playing more than one cue at a time and wouldn't stop.

Re: Continuous music - separate tracks such as a classical p
Don't forget those crazy lighting people... Heck, this year, I attached a monitor just for the lighting desk so they could see the clocks.
That said, if they'd just invest a few bucks, they could have me send the commands to the console from SCS...

[In 11.2.1] Continuous music - separate tracks eg classical
Maybe I'm crazy, but I can't find it in the forum anywhere... Say you're rolling a set of cues that need to advance to the next cue automatically -- Think classical music. Think ballet. Think Nutcracker. Transitions, but continuous audio (trying to keep the post search friendly). Or think Frampton C...
