Re: Import Cue List
Probably not recommended by Mike but . . . A cue file is written in xml and it is pretty easy to knock up a large set of cues with a text editor or word or excel. Create a little cue file first to get a template. I have used this technique to « automatically » create a version of my current cue file...

[Fix 11.6.1] midi cue number deleted on paste of sub-cue
Hi Mike Little buglet - if I copy and paste a subcue into a cue with other sub-cues then any Midi/DMX number already defined for the cue is deleted. I think this has always been happening as several times in the past I have found my midi cue numbers missing and never worked out why . . . Haven't tri...

Re: ESC button to fade out rather than stop
Sorry but have to disagree. Esc is a great "panic" button - do something daft and you can stop it immediately. The hotkey route works just fine - I have two defined with slow and fast fadeout times . .

[Mod 11.5.2.1] Question about memo cues
Hi. In the manual it says that memos stay displayed until another memo cue is fired, or until it is closed on timeout or it is closed manually. I find that they are closed if I trigger an audio or SFR cue using an external trigger. Is this normal?

Re: SCS for live performace
I would add one other thing and that is that unless you have the need of W10 then I would seriously recommend rooting around for some solid old laptop running XP. SCS doesn't take much oomph, and ever since W7 Microsoft seem to be more interested in using your computer for who knows what when really...

Re: SCS for live performace
Hi I do something very very similar to run the sound in our live gigs. I have SCS to run the audio - 8 parallel tracks with drums, bass, keys etc and each song has a midi prog change defined so I can hop around the songs. As each song plays it also sends our several midi messages to control the desk...

Re: Loops in midi file cues
As for multiple loops in audio files this too would make my kind of usage (using SCS to play backing tracks for my band) a Whole Lot easier. Anybody else doing the same sort of thing?

[Fix 11.5.0] Thread Assertion Failed on Go To Cue+multi subs
Hi Mike - sorry to raise this when you are beavering away on 11.5 . . . I'll d/l the latest RC later and check if it has the same problem. Doesn't sound like you will have changed the basic cue engine for the new functions . . . I have an Intro song with a loop for saying Hi to the audience and I wa...

Re: 11.4.2.3 and Windows XP on a Dell laptop
Hi -no probs here. I have no less than 3 "old" laptops I reserve for live scs use. Alll run XP (which I consider the lasr reliable version of Windows) and one is an old Dell. I would guess it is a driver problem as getting a decent set of compatible drivers for XP is a challenge. Mike - as long as y...

Re: Playing is Green but Nothing is Happening
There is apparently a "feature" of Windows that means Asio drivers don't work first time if you use them quickly after startup. I get this sometimes when I start the pc and start SCS immediately. If you close and reopen SCS it initialises the driver a 2nd time and all is fine. Maybe this is happenin...
