Please retain separate edit window

For me one of the key strengths of SCS over other software - Qlabs for example - is the completely separate editor window. I usually create shows on a two-screen set-up and having the editor window permanently open in the second screen is a huge productivity bonus, especially in situations like tech...

Re: Close down popup warning

Hi Mike Can we make this optional please so that those that like it can keep it and those of us that don't can go back to how it was? It's already driving me crazy and I only installed 11.8.2 a week or so ago. I know I can cancel it for a day but would like to hide it permanently. (Keep the unsaved ...

Re: File Will Not Open! Error: Not Available

Thanks for the quick feedback Mike. I disabled Total Recorder as you indicated this was the problematic device and deleted the device map file and this time was able to create a new device map without any problems. Just in time for my full tech rehearsal today.

First rate support, as always!

Re: File Will Not Open! Error: Not Available

Hi Mike I'm getting a very similar error when transferring from my development computer to a laptop to take to the venue - see attachment with error message. Ended up having to take the big PC along which was a bit of a pain. BASS error.png Have tried deleting the device map file to force a rebuild ...

Re: A Video is showed rotated

Thanks Mike. Have downloaded RC 5 and the problem seems fully resolved - all the videos I had that were problematic now display in correct orientation without needing to perform any conversions. Thanks again for the prompt fix. David

Re: A Video is showed rotated

Thanks Mike. I'll give it a try. I was able to get away with it today using the file conversion and it was lucky I was able to get the files yesterday instead of this morning. (NB: the client was curious to know how I was able to show the videos on cue without all the usual on-screen faffing around ...

Re: A Video is showed rotated

Hi. I also encountered the same problem for the first time yesterday (after using SCS with video for many years) - 4 out of a group of 5 videos given to me for projection were either upside down or rotated right by 90 degrees in SCS but OK in Media Player/VLC/Pot Player so I came on to the Forum to ...
