Re: Planning for Live Input
I've just updated my copy of SCS and noticed the Live Input option and that it is not available at the moment. I understand, mostly from reading this thread, that it will be phased into the program in later versions. But I've got a few questions. 1) Will the Live Input cue only be useable through So...

Re: Using a pushbutton to control cues
Hexler has recently released a MIDI Bridge program for PC which works with TouchOSC to input MIDI through wireless. I've been looking at TouchOSC for some time now and really want to try this out. But I'm fairly new to the MIDI world and am having difficulty figuring out how to map the TouchOSC keys...

Re: Implementing mono outputs with Roland Octa-Capture
Thanks Mike. That actually helped. I did find that you have to change a Patchbay setting so that output 1 & 2 respond to WAVE 1-2, not Mix A, which will basically put a mix of everything into the 1-2 outputs.

Implementing mono outputs with Roland Octa-Capture
Could someone help me out with getting SCS set up to send 5 mono outputs using the Roland Octa-Capture? I need to send out to 4 separate speakers and a subwoofer, preferably without having to go through a separate mixer and aux sends, which is how I've achieved multiple speaker selection in the past...

Re: OSC Interface
After doing some research, I've come to realize that OSC and The Missing Link may not be the best solution for what I'm looking to do. What I'm looking for is a way to control SCS through an iPad, but I'm not entirely comfortable using a remote access app to connect to my computer. Is there a possib...

OSC Interface
I got an iPad recently, and am contemplating using the app TouchOSC to run SCS while working in various places around the theater. I'm also contemplating purchasing and using the device The Missing Link to translate from OSC to MIDI. So I have two questions: 1) Is there a way that SCS could be coded...

What iPad app are you using to design and run this control surface? TouchOSC?sjwicks wrote:After some futher trial and error (and much googling), I have successfully designed a controll surface on the ipad which controlls the Go STOP PAUSE, Master volume, Up one cue, Down one Cue and GOTO TOP of cues.
