Show Cue System

I wouldn't often want this. Last minute changes are after I have plotted cues with our Stage Manager, and I'm happy to just add Q3.5 if I need an extra between Q3 and Q4, for example. Just my view.

Choose ones controlled by MIDI-over-USB, then control by SCS is trivial.
And if you want to simulate a push-button trigger for another device, have an 'ON' subcue with an 'OFF' subcue 100ms later.

In the list of cues, there seem to be a lot of cues that have already been played, plus only a few that are coming up. I'm not sure why this is, and seems to be a waste of limited screen space. Thanks Derick, looks good. We've decided to go for a USB interface, TASCAM US-16X08, for £217. Not quite as much internal processing as the Marian but priced accordingly.

I normally don't allow internet access on our SCS PC. That would stop unexpected updates, surely? Or might Windows still try to implement a previously downloaded update??

I guessed it's audio graphs too. I often have to save twice, because the asterisk is still there after the first save.

For audio files, .wav and .mp3 are fine. I find .aif and .m4a need converting outside SCS. Not a big problem though.

Hi Mike, I was trying to play cue QB, in rehearsal mode. Whenever I clicked on it, the highlighting stepped up to QA so I couldn't play it. I'm sure I've had this before. Oddjob, I've done similar, having a train go across the stage then down the side of the auditorium. As Mike says, Level Change (sub-)cues are the way to go.
