Re: Remapping secondary screens

That would be awesome -- especially if we could also label / name the screens (much like we can with Audio Output Devices).

Thanks for everything!

Remapping secondary screens

Is there a way to edit the screen definitions in SCS -- e.g. to swap screen 2 and screen 3 -- without having to change the screen assignments in each cue? My use case is that I'm prepping a bunch of video cues across multiple screens offline, and I'm worried that when I get to the theater (and actua...

Multiple Displays Multiple Videos - Jittery Video Playback

Update: I don't have an answer as to why the TVG and LAV configuration wasn't working for me, but I did find a solution that does work. First, I tested video playback using a different piece of software (Resolume). I verified that it was able to play multiple instances of the same files (h.264 mp4s...

[Fix11.5.2.4]Copy, Move or Delete View Changes Not Scollable

SCS Version 11.5.2.2 When using the Copy, Move, or Delete a Range of Cues dialog, one must select the "View Changes" button before selecting "OK". After selecting the action and then "View Changes", the cue list on the right side becomes grayed out and not scrollable. With a long cue list, this may ...

Level Change of Called Cue

I found something interesting when trying to perform a level change on a Callable Cue. Maybe this will help others. Example use case: I have a "car starting and driving" cue that is made up of a couple sub-cues (including one that loops). I'd like to reuse this cue several times in my production. I ...

Re: Video not fading out or looping (TVG, Win 8.1, 11.4.2.1)

Fantastic explanation - makes perfect sense - thank you! In reality, for the show I'm working on now, I in fact won't need to use the different parts of the screen as I had done in my demo; the cues will in fact just take over the whole screen, so I should be all set. But this is an interesting conc...

Video not fading out or looping (TVG, Win 8.1, 11.4.2.1)

I'm testing running video cues on a second monitor (extension of my desktop) on a newly installed Windows 8.1 Pro machine running SCS 11.4.2.1. I'm attempting to use the TVG video library so that I can cross fade between cues. Two problems I've come across: 1. I can't get a video cue to loop continu...

Re: SCS settings for Asonic USB 8 chan box

I found that these same combination of settings was necessary for the Sabrent 8-channel USB card (http://www.sabrent.com/product_USB-SND8.php) in Windows XP as well - though apparently not necessary in Vista. I did try it with two different Sabrent devices (and two different software driver CDs) tho...
