Re: Fading of paused videos
Hi, I'm not sure if this should be a bug report, a feature request, or a general query, so sorry if I have put the topic in the wrong place. Is it possible to fade out a paused video cue? The "auto pause at end of video" is really useful but the only way to clear the resulting image is to Stop the ...

Bulk cue editing, en mass.
Is it possible to make the bulk move/delete/copy function more like the bulk renumber? With renumbering you can make multiple sets of changes by hitting "apply" without having to "ok" out of the dialogue box. It would be nice to do the same with bulk moves.

Re: Subroutine Cues
[*]Deciding what to do with activation methods in the subroutine's cues (eg should the 2nd and subsequent cues in the subroutine all be auto-start?) [*]If a 2nd or subsequent cue in a subroutine is not auto-start but manual start, then how do we activate that cue, since the 'Go' button etc is reall...

Re: SCS and DMX
Wouldn't profiling the "dimmer" to be either 0% or 100% help with this? Our lighting tech does that all the time for control of things like foggers and other effects bits.

Re: Starting playback from point other than top of cue
I just sent the dump. I'm experiencing this behavior with non-playlist gapless cues.

Transport indicates nothing playing, but audio being played.
So tonight, I start a cue and step out of the booth. While I'm out of the booth, it plays into the next track as expected. When I get back into the booth, I see that the currently playing track is marked as completed, (though it is still actually playing as indicated by my ears, the meters within SC...

Re: Starting playback from point other than top of cue
Funny, I tried this first thing this evening and it worked as expected, but it has now gone back to the prior behavior. Once I'm at a convenient moment, I will create the dump file as requested. Tonight I'm in a different show file than the one I previously was reporting on (though coincidentally al...

Starting playback from point other than top of cue
So I'm a bit torn whether this falls under feature request or bug, but as it's behavior other than what I think one would reasonably expect I'll go with bug. Observed in 11.2.5 When SCS is stopped, if you manually advance the play position of a cue using the slider in the transport controls (so as t...

[In 11.3.0] Level envelope in editor.
Is it possible to add the ability to draw level changes on the waveform of a cue within the editor? I'm often given tracks for dance recitals that have been poorly edited/mastered, typically by the choreographers (sometimes students) themselves with variations from section to section (within a track...

Re: Tempo Changes
Consider this a +1 for a pitch/tempo control. My venue also does quite a lot of dance and I do somewhat frequently get requests to speed up or slow down a track. I fully understand Boswell's concern regarding bloat but it does seem from the forums that a decent number of users utilize SCS for dance....

Re: Fixing stuttering, skipping or stalling audio
I don't know if this is universally the case with Windows 7 and non-system drives. I've learned that Western Digital drives absolutely ignore the OS settings and spin down as a result of the drives bios much as you describe in your guidance on this issue. However, at least as of the time when I rese...

Re: Latency issues
I've experienced similar issues across a couple of different 10.x versions on a number of shows. Not always affecting the same cue. In one case, was during a musical for reasons which I never fully understood, one of the songs was tracked rather than being played by the band. I had a single cue, (st...

Re: Video Fade Cue
I'm not a programmer so I don't know the ins and outs of pluging in different video and audio engines, but there's open source software called VLC (again, I don't know how that would work with your commercial sales model,) that I believe uses its own and very flexible engine that supports a wide var...

Re: Question regarding MOTU ASIO drivers...
Sorry, I haven't had time to check the forums lately. I'll now tag along onto what's been happening here with Dan and volunteer to "map" the test tone output at some point this week. I will however add this in advance, I can't speak for other ASIO devices as I don't own any, but, with the Ultralite,...
