Re: sound cue not starting (negative countdown)
Mike, Did you find an answer for this issue? I've had a similar experience using a 2 second auto delay to start a follow-on cue. The countdown just continues negative and the cue doesn't start. Hitting stop will end the countdown. I just start it manually from there and the cue runs normally. Thanks...

Re: Time Lag between Sub-Cues
Looks like problem solved. Mike was a tremendous help tracking down the fix. I just needed to put a value in the "Link Sync Point" field in the Permanent Options under "Audio Driver". Mike suggested 50 ms and that seems to have fixed the problem. Kudos and thanks to Mike for his effort and patience....

Re: Time Lag between Sub-Cues
Thanks Mike. The internal mixer is turned off and I verified the file lengths are the same. When I first loaded cues into the program, the first sub-cue consistently started 0.03 seconds ahead of the rest. They maintained that timing throughout the playback (sub-cues 2 thru "X" stayed in perfect syn...

Time Lag between Sub-Cues (solved)
I'm having a problem with the timing of sub-cues. I am using 4-5 sub-cues under each cue and they need to stay synchronized. I'm using Show Cue for band backing tracks, similar to "Forever Everly". When I initially loaded sub-cues, I found that the first one consistently started about 0.03 seconds a...

Re: supported audio devices
I've set up a netbook with ShowCue running into an M-Audio Ultra with 6 audio and 3 midi outputs.
There were no issues setting it up and it all works as expected.

Re: Importing Midi Files - Noob question
I got the midi files to load correctly, but I'm having an issue with playback. I'm using midi note commands to change lighting scenes, but I get random blackouts. The lighting scene should stay on until the next "note on" command is sent to the controller. During several scene changes, the scene goe...

Re: Importing Midi Files - Noob question
Martin, Thanks for the info. I found your posts via an earlier web search and that's what prompted me to explore SCS. My planned setup is very similar to what you have. I'm still waiting for delivery of my audio interface, but once I have the system put together, I may take you up on the offer to sh...

Importing Midi Files - Noob question
I'm trying the demo version of Show Cue to see if it will work for my live band production controlling backing tracks and lights. I'm trying to load a .mid file as one of the sub-cues, but can't figure out how to get it loaded. (the menu only allows audio files) Is this a limitation of the demo vers...
