Re: Audio Output selection
Chad, you say in your original post "I have the SCS Professional Plus license." and in one of your last posts, you say you want to use live inputs. Do you also have a licensed (not demo) version of SoundMan-Server from SCS? The version of SCS you have will support SMS but you'll need a license for i...

Re: SCS and the ETC Element
Hi Milt, I also have an Element (recently purchased last March 2013 to cope with August: Osage County)- specifically, an Element 60-250 as well have been running SCS 11 (license level SCS Professional Plus ) for a couple of years. I use the Richmond Sound Design Ltd SoundMan-Server audio driver as I...

Re: State of Video playback in 11.1.5?
I too have a show in August 2014 that will have a need for the advanced video playbacks of this version.
Looking forward to it too.

Re: Selecting audio output for video files
Hello, If you're using SoundMan-Server as the audio engine, then, it might be possible to physically patch the default outputs (from a video) to a pair of inputs on an audio interface and using SM-S then route the live inputs to the outputs you want? Seems on the surface it would be more flexible an...

Re: Timer Cues
I'm aware you want to have it built-into SCS but if you have an iPhone there is an app I use that may do what you request. It's called Show Timer and it's by West Side Systems - Eric Cornwell. I use it to not only time the show parts but to track intermission. It will e-mail you the logs it creates....

Re: Toggle MIDI Input on/off?
That's certainly a clever solution! - Perhaps a place to put in relay is in the line between the receiver and the Ext. trigger input of the D4. Unless that causes a false trigger.

Re: Toggle MIDI Input on/off?
Question - by what means are they triggering the effects? Wireless, physical wires, or ? If via a foot-switch controller such as a MIDI Solutions F8 then you would have physical wires available - and you could insert a Normally-open relay contact such as a MIDI Solutions R8 into each line. That way,...

Bob,
I certainly understand not wanting to change things during a show!
Looking forward to Monday's report.
Thanks

Re: Minimum Requirements for SCS + SM-S?
Bob, Do you still have issues if you check mark the "Force audio processing onto a single processor" on the SM-S screen that initially comes up as well as when you right-click the SM-S tray icon? Also, what version of SM-S are you using? I've been a user of ABEdit for AudioBox since 2005 as well as ...

At the same time, would it be possible to incorporate the feature in this request? I think they are releated to a degree.

Re: Single button external control?
I suppose I should explain. The reason for using a foot switch with a MIDISolutions F8 is that on many cues in the last show I ran - M*A*S*H, both hands were tied up as I also ran a manual 2-scene preset lighting board at the same time. I purchased the F8 used and set it up to do a GO with MSC. The ...

Re: 'Offline' programming
So, in Device Mapper, you'd like to assign outputs that don't actually exist on the pc you're using to program a show? Seems like a good idea to me. But it's up to Mike, of course. Perhaps a check box for a particular device map that would effectively allow a user to turn off the error checking for ...

Re: Support for Midi Controller
I, too. would like support for MIDI controllers, such as CM Labs MotorMix series of controllers. I use a CM Labs MotorMix to control levels for SoundMan-Server (subs, inputs, outputs), mutes and solos in a live setting to adjust for different audience densities. Also, when setting levels in the venu...

Re: Ordering of cue numbers
Does the cue number/cue label have anything to do with putting cues into a specific order? No. In other software I've used to program shows, you can change the order of the cues by changing the cue # - for instance, in this sequence: 100, 110, 120 to place a cue after 100 but before 110 you would j...

Ordering of cue numbers
Please excuse a newbie request - I don't know if what I'm asking is a feature or someone just needs to point me towards the proper area of the docs. Does the cue number/cue label have anything to do with putting cues into a specific order? I realize you can drag cues where they need to be in the lis...
