thank you Mike!
the "Toggle" option I hadn't thought of, but seems useful as well.

levels, faders, scales etc
Hi Mike, I would suggest *real* labeling of the fader travel. By this I mean the top at "0" and the bottom at "-∞" The "taper" should of course approximate a nice hardware fader as discussed above. Better yet, this taper should be adjustable or have a couple of different presets available to the use...

I guess that the keyboard is not like a musical instrument - there is only "note on", so to speak... Perhaps you could build an option in cues where the "auto repeat" is interpreted as "keep playing", once you stop sensing the repeating key then you could stop playback, ideally with a very quick fad...

AutoStart after Hot Key?
Hi Mike, Is there a way to Auto-Start a cue after a Hot Key cue? this would be a nice way to deal with alternate scenarios, you could play the Hot Key and that would then take you to a specific cue, not necessarily at the point in the show where you were, ie skip several cues and land further ahead,...

hot keys - key-on key-off (in 10.5.0)
Hello,
is there a way to play Hot Key cues like a sampler of sorts, that is keep playing until you release the key?

It would be great if one could edit the actual fades, but I'm aware this may be too much work and too close to a sound editing app. But some choices at least would be nice. Have a look at CD Architect, they have 5 or 6 "preset" fades available that get the job done 98% of the time. I'm sure other ap...

(Firewire 410)
I'm also using the FW410 and a Laptop (Dell). I have been generally happy with it, but here's some caveats to consider: -unbalanced outputs. Not a deal-breaker, perhaps, but you must be prepared to address that; sooner or later (I bet sooner) you will *need* a balanced connection into your mixer. I ...

The inclusion of EQ (in SCS) is not be the best way to address soundcard shortcomings. Fix the problem at the source. There are inexpensive USB devices that will sound *a lot* better than the Dell laptop built-in audio. Unless you are talking about a good sounding EQ algorithm more on par with those...

more SUGGESTED FEATURES FOR SCS
mike, thanks for the great prog. I've already sent you this as a private email but figured maybe the users out there can further comment/refine these ideas. Sorry it is a bit long.
