Re: Linked Audio File Cue/Sub Cue Problem

Hi Mike thanks for this. I'll give this a go and get back to you. After further playing around I seem to be having problems changing levels of Linked files/subs cues as well, nothing happens, like no cue has been programmed. Also previewing level changes takes no notice of 'start playing at xxx seco...

Linked Audio File Cue/Sub Cue Problem

Hi All I updated my laptop and Theatre PC to SCS 11.2.3 a while back, and have just started to plot my first show with it. I have 2 Audio devices set up: 1 - Front of House, 2 Seating Block. When I add an audio file cue I can send audio to both devices no problem. The sound is coming through the spe...

Re: Problem with adding devices - SCS 10 and 11

Thanks for the reply Mike. The Licence type displayed is SCS Professional Corporate. I re-entered my details and it made no difference, but then tried typing it rather than copying and pasting and that seemed to fix the problem. This also fixed the SCS 11 issue also. Many thanks for your help. Seems...

Problem with adding devices - SCS 10 and 11

Hi All I wondered if anyone could help. Having a problem that I havent had before. Just brought a new laptop and setting up for a new show. Decided to give SCS 11 a go for the first time. My theatre uses 4 Stereo outputs so decided to set up the devices in advance on the laptop. After finding my way...

Re: Video Cues on extended desktop

Hi Mike Sorry for not replying earlier. To answer your questions: If I play the the first cue through to completion (only 20secs) through to completion the second one doesn't display, I can only hear the audio. Then when I reset to the top, the first doesn't play. I have WMP 11 installed and 1Gb of ...

Re: Video Cues on extended desktop

Hi Mike

That's very kind of you.

At the moment I am using 1280 x 1024, but am happy to use 1024 x 768, whatevers easier.

Thanks again

Re: Video Cues on extended desktop

Up update to my last reply. I can play videos using WMP on either screen, but when I play a powerpoint file, videos will only play when the presentation is set to play on the primary screen. With powerpoint you can choose where to display the presention, so it seems that Richard has hit the nail on ...

Re: Video Cues on extended desktop

Thanks for your reply Richard.

I've tried switching the monitors around with no luck. I'm not sure but SCS seems to always play the videos cues on the secondary screen. I can move the playlist onto the second screen, but not the video to the primary. (?)

Video Cues on extended desktop

Hi All I wonder if anyone can help... I am trying to add some video cues to SCS. I am running SCS 10.2 professional, XP and I have extended my desktop to a second monitor and enabled video overlay on my graphics card. I have 2 mpeg files set up as Cue 1 and Cue 2 (I want the second video to replace ...

Hi Mike

Thanks. Dragging the level slider and saving the changes would be a solution. Never come across this before as I had never used such long fades.

Thanks for your quick reply, and for the great program. Has made my life so much easier.

Video Cues (part in 10.1.0)

Hi Mike I read a post in the forum a while back regarding sync with video projection. I am currenting planning for a show which uses 3 AV environments, inc a live feed, text and picture animation (both back projected onto a screen) and another powerpoint presention for wmv premixed video which outpu...

Skipping a programed 'Fade In'

Hi A quick question - rather confusing to explain so I'll try my best! Recently, while working through a technical rehearsal, I had 2 cues which crossfaded from one into the other over 3 or so minutes. Due to ease I programed SCS to deal with the fade times. Problems arose when the rehearsal stopped...

Thank you Jack and Mike. Very kind of you both to reply so quickly. I see that I can download SCS 9.1.7 from the member's area. I think that I have a user name and password for 9.1 but if not should I follow the instructions at the bottom of the members area? Also, if I prepare the show on SCS 9.2.7...
