Cue to run an executable or script (now in 10.7.5)
Mike, I have been wondering about this for a while, and couldn't find any other requests on here... Would it be possible to have a cue type that can run an executable or batch file etc? Amongst other things, I am a software developer, and have often thought I could write little utilities to do thing...

Re: I hit the space bar, cues run, but no audio! help!
Mike, when I am next at the theatre, I will see if I still have a backup of the non functional cue file - I may just possibly! We are using MSC to fire the cues in SCS, but there should be nothing mapped to the master fader to control that - certainly I have not mapped anything, or indeed unmapped s...

Re: I hit the space bar, cues run, but no audio! help!
I have had this happen to me on a couple of occasions, and in differing versions of SCS (10.x), and until recently had not been able to identify what was happening. In my case I had run a few cues in the Tech rehearsal, and then noticed that I needed to renumber them slightly, so did this (in the ed...

Auto Generating SFR Cues
Hi Mike. I am not sure if this feature has been requested before, so here goes. I am currently working on a show where I have to add a large number of files, and I find the easiest way to do this is to drop them onto the Cue List in the Editor from either 'My Computer' or Windows Explorer. This work...

Mike, you are quite right, in that for some users, in certain circumstances, it could cause the operator to trigger a cue too early. To more safely implement auto-skipping I suggest that if the audio file cue ends then the automatic skipping of an associated SFR should be delayed by a few seconds. T...

[Done] Removing/Skipping SFR if cue it relates to finished
I have a couple of instances where I have tracks that will sometimes play through and sometimes require me to end it sooner with a SFR cue (depending on the actors delivery speed usually!). It would appear that, at the moment, if a cue finishes naturally you have the 'orphaned' SFR cue which needs t...

I use both the Layla and Gina (3G) units from Echo, although these are both PCI based. As Mike mentions, Echo do their AudioFire range, which is firewire based. They seem to be almost identical to the Layla and Gina products, but with a firewire interface. I have used the (PCI) Echo products for a n...

MIDI Triggered Cues
Mike, I have been running a show using MSC for about a week and I have noticed that even when a cue is disabled it will still be triggered via MIDI. I appreciate that I could put an ' x ' in the cue number field, but I would have assumed that disabling a cue would disable all ways of triggering it? ...

MIDI Cue Numbers
I have used SCS now for a number of productions, but we are about to run our first show where cues will be triggered via MSC using the 'Go' button on our ETC Express 48/96 lighting desk. My query is as follows: I know the MIDI Cue numbers are automatically derived from the Cue number. In the Help Fi...
