SCS11.3 Display devices
HI Mike Just upgraded to V11.3.2 from 10.9 - We run WinXP with a second video card for our projector. However Windows assigns Display 2 for windows and Display 1 to the add on (projector) card. When trying to use a Video/Image cue in V11.3, I can only assign to display 2 or above. When using V10.9 t...

Re: GoTo Loops
Hi Dngnkeeper Try this work around, as I also found I could not escape the goto loop Create another Note goto cue outside of the first loop and assign the cue to a hotkey, the goto should jump to the next cue following your loop. I found this worked for me. You may have to include sub cues to cancel...

Re: Problems playing video clips in 10.6.1 Standard
HI There I also had the same problem, in that I could not get video to play reliably. We tried saving the videos in different formats (WMV, AVI etc.) which didn't appear to make any difference. We found that as our Theatre PC is not internet connected, we could not install the latest MS Media player...

Re: blank audio cues
Malcolm details they way I currently create my cue file, and I found that by creating a silent wav file, and using that, I could slowly replace these when the correct SFX is found. However I did submit a feature request to be able to change one type of cue file to another, this would also provide th...

Re: Playlist Test "from here" (part in 10.4.0)
Hi Mike
Just a quick note of thanks for adding the play from here test feature. works a treat.
The enabling of the track slider was only a nice to have, if it was easy to implement
Thanks again.

Re: Playlist Test "from here"
Hi Mike I would like to add my support to Dan's idea of running the playlist test from a selected file. I would then find it quicker to test the transition of files added to the playlist at a later date, as the earlier transitions have already been tested. Would it also be possible to enable the tra...

Editor - Change Cue type
Hello again When creating a mixed production i.e. not just audio SFX I like to enter all the cue information first from the script. This is ok when the technical solution is know before this process. However is some instances I have added an audio cue, then wish to change it to a control cue, or per...

SFR cue to stop a Control Cue (in 10.4.0)
A proposal to consider With SCS's addition of RS232 control cues (thanks Mike) we can use SCS to control actual devices on our stage, telephones, buzzers etc. When programming a repetitive event e.g. telephone ringing, I found the most successful method was to use several subcues, each with an incre...

Re: Extra field - Script page number
HI I have found that with Mikes flexible Cue Numbering, I use the Cue number field to hold both the page number and then a letter designating that cue, i.e. 21a page 21 first cue. I suppose this would get more difficult when there are more than 26 cues to a page, but with our productions there is no...

Minor bug 10.3.0 error 9 adding audio subcue (fix in 10.3.1)
Hi Mike I was trying to replicate a fault I have noticed deleting a subcue, but stumbled across this minor error in the process. Steps to replicate fault 1) Add an audio cue - select an audio file 2) Add an audio subcue to this cue - select an audio file This produces an Error 9 Subscript Out of Ran...

Exporting a large Production (fix/mod in 10.3.1)
Hi Mike Just a minor issue, now that video cues are possible, the file sizes for a production are greatly increased. I have found that exporting a production can leave the display in what looks like a "frozen" state until SCS finishes the export. (a couple of videos > 40Mb will do it) SCS still great.

Re: Problems with RS232 control
Hi Mike I'm getting the same problems as DJ with the RS232 control always reverting back to ASCII. I am using SCS to control a relay board http://www.phaedrusltd.com/Download/som1ins.pdf which works fine when I step through the cues in the editor and use the "test control send" button, but I get no ...
