Show Cue System

+1 for this

I always number any cues called by the stage manager as fully numeric eg 12 12.5 13 and any auto cues with an alpha suffix, eg 12.5A. Never entered my mind to hide them as the last thing I'd want is for SCS to be running a cue and me not being aware of what it is.

I'd seriously consider moving from Android if this was available!

Any chance of conditional cues eg If Q5 still running then Q6 else Q7 OR If Q12 finished then Q14 else Q13

Has anyone tried controlling ScreenMonkey using MIDI from SCS. This may be a possible interim solution.

I'm sure there are other video presentation or DJ solutions out there which could also be used in a similar fashion eg VJamm (http://www.vjamm.com)

Would VST implementation solve this and effect related issues. That would leave the core software doing the superb job it is doing now and allow end-users to add additional funtionality as they see fit.

Actually tried every permutation of before/after, cue/subcue, 0.0, 0.5. Director wasn't concerned but it is offensive to me.

Now I close my eyes each time I run those cues and everything is perfect when I look back to the stage!!! Show now in production so no more changes until after bump-out.

Already tried that. Goes to black in between. Too much of the video issues are related to so-called "Standards". What works on one PC might not necessarily work on another due to codecs etc. I'm pretty sure that Mike makes mention of this in the help file.

Doing a show at the moment with a number of videos which need to play through and then pause at the end, thus leaving an image on screen. Whatever you use, it is far better to use a constant bit rate, not variable.

Perhaps better would be a "History" log, like I have on my lx console. That has a little box on the lower right of the screen which tracks operation of the "Go" button among others. Then you will end up with a list of what happened when.

Even better would be some method to normalize all tracks in a playlist. I do this with a 3rd party product but it is usually one of the last things I get round to, if at all.

How would you handle cues sent to other devices eg lx desk, if you skipped them. I'm thinking specifically here if you are using tracking mode on a lx console ( and really, why wouldn't you).
